Alice Springs, Yuendumu and White Gate - 2011-2015

Digging for  charba  or witchetty grubs which are the larvae of  Endoxyla leucomochla. 
These are the larvae of Endoxyla leucomochla. The grub is the most important insect food of the desert and has historically been a staple in the diets of Aboriginal Australians in Central Australia.
